Alyssa e' nata a Brooklyn, New York, il 19 Dicembre 1972. All'eta' di 8 anni, dopo aver visto a Brodway lo spettacolo teatrale Annie, debutta nel ruolo di July nello stesso recital. Fa il suo debutto televisivo nell'84 a 11 anni come "Samantha Micelli" nella commedia televisiva "Who's the Boss" che continuera' per ben 8 anni, vincendo 3 premi "Youth In Film".
Nel 1997, finito il suo impegno, prende parte agli ultimi 6 episodi di "Melrose Place" di quell'anno nel ruolo di Jennifer Mancini. Alyssa partecipa a numerosi film per la televisione (vedi la sezione Movies) fino ad oggi nella parte di Phoebe Halliwell nella serie televisiva Streghe (Charmed).
Il suo primo film (non televisivo) risale all'1984 con Danny Aiello in "Old Enough" e poi come figlia di Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Commando". Da questo punto in poi e' stata una carriera ininterrotta di successi, come "Fear", "Hugo Pool", "Deadly Sins", "Poison Ivy2" e "Below Utopia" (prodotto da lei stessa).
Alyssa registra anche 5 dischi in Giappone e per tutti e 5 riceve il disco di Platino !! Ha anche cantato nel celebre Budokan di Tokyo davanti a 40.000 persone. Vedi la sezione Music. ... e, dulcis in fundo, ha dato l'ispirazione per la creazione della "Piccola Sirenetta Ariel" nell'omonimo film della Walt Disney

Alyssa born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 19th, 1972. When 8, after seen the Brodway theatre play Annie, debut in the role of July in the same comedy. She made her televison debut in 1984 at the age of 11 as "Samantha Micelli" in the Tv sitcom "Who's the Boss", that runs for 8 years winning 3 "Youth In Film" awards. In the 1997 she joined the cast of "Melrose Place" for the last 6 episodes of the season as "Jennifer Mancini". The next year she was regular in the cast. Alyssa starred in many TV movies (see Movies section) up to today as Phoebe Halliwell in the Chramed TV show.

Her first movie (not for TV) was in the 1984 with Danny Aiello "Old Enough" and, two yaers later, then as doughter of Arnold Schwarzennegger in "Commando".
